Redmi 2 is Another Budget Friendly Handset From Xiaomi. Its an 64-Bit Processor Powered Handset Running Android 4.4 KitKat. Its Dual Sim Handset with 4G Support. It is available Exclusively on Flipkart For Rs.6999 via Flash Sale.

It weighs about 136grams and Around 9.1mm Thick. It Somewhat Looks like Redmi 1s with Minor Changes like USB Port Is At Extreme Bottom Right Side. Flash LED is Moved to Left Side of Camera Module. Volume Rocker and Power Button is at Right. 3.5"mm Audio Jack is Placed On Top. It has also Got Same Three Red Color Navigation Button which is are not Backlit.

For Gaming, I tried Asphalt 8 and Subway Suffer Both got Installed in Internal Storage. Asphalt 8 in High Graphics Mode Works Well but Occasionally You May Feel Few Frame Drop. But in Medium Visual Quality is Works Buttery Smooth.

Redmi 2 has 8GB of Internal Storage Out of Which 4.4GB is Free on 1st Boot. There is 1GB of RAM and about 385MB is Free is Free at 1st Boot. It also Support SDcard Slot Up to 32GB. It Runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat Out of The Box and MiUi6 is On Top of it. OTG is also Supported.

Redmi 2 Has 2200mAh of Battery which Gives Very Good Battery Life. You Can Expect up to 5-7 Hrs Of Backup On Continues Moderate to Heavy Usage on Balanced Mode. It Does not Get Heated Up Quickly as well. Max Temperature I Noticed is 41 Degree while Gaming. Xiaomi had Provided 1A Charger Which Charges Device Quite slowly I put it on Charge on 10% and it Took 1 Hr 55Min to Charge Up to 84%.

Redmi 2 is Really Exceptional Phone at This Price Point. It is Upgraded Version of Redmi 1s and Has More Features than it. Lenovo A6000 Has also Same Specification But in terms of Camera Redmi 2 Clearly Wins However Performance is in Both Handset.
